A wee while back we had the pleasure of chatting with Liam from Breaking Bread Podcast which is a podcast centred on the independent food scene in Birmingham. Julia and I took a trip down memory lane of starting ju ju's at the height of the recession (nearly 10 years ago!) in our competitive Birmingham city centre location, just a few minutes from the big chains surrounding Brindley Place and The Arena Birmingham, and why we've been steady in our success and reputation. From my beginning as weekend pot wash to where we source our produce to the ethos Julia built ju ju's upon we divulge the good, the bad and the absolutely fabulous times the last ten years of ju ju's has brought to us!
